Potted Plant packaging is primary and fundamental for A‑ROO Company – the very first standard sleeves with wire wickets were available to our customers from stock in 1974. We were the very first North American company to introduce ultra clear Polypropylene sleeves for potted plants to our customers in 1975 that virtually replaced the cloudy appearing Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) sleeves that were prevalent in the marketplace. We have served many multi-generational family owned companies, and we are proud to say we have served up to three generations at some and will soon be working with our fourth.

We not only carry the deepest and most extensive range of standard ready-to-ship plastic Clear and Satin Plant Sleeves (many with KLEEN-VENT™ Sleeve vent holes or with Micro-punching); but we also make and stock Non-Woven (NW) (Fiber) Breathable Plant Sleeves in two sides NW, which is referred to as SUPER-AIRE™ Sleeves, and alternatively with one side NW and the other in Clear CPP are our popular SUPER-BREATHER™ Sleeves.

Rounding out the world’s largest standard selection of Plant Sleeves anywhere – we also have standard Brown Kraft Paper Sleeves available in many sizes from stock. Standard Printed White Paper Sleeves for African Violets are also available from stock.

With this environmental commitment and having the most extensive range of standard and ready to ship film packaging in the floral industry includes many, many plain and unprinted packages – big and small, for a wide variety of floral applications ranging from Potted Plants to Fresh Flowers and virtually everything in between; this carries with it a responsibility and a tremendous opportunity. We are the very first floral packaging company to commit to imprinting all of our standard / stock products with proper recycling information – at no extra cost to our customers.

What does this mean?

This allows all users or consumers to know exactly how to properly dispose of the package for the purpose of recycling and eventually re-using it again. An otherwise plain and unprinted package carrying this incredibly important identifier on it can reduce the impact on our environment by well over 4,000,000 pounds of plastic per year. Without this identifier – the opportunity is lost.
