New Tariff Announcement
The previously threatened tariff on $200 Billion on Chinese goods by our government was confirmed on September 17th, 2018.
The U.S. will introduce an initial 10 percent tariff, giving American businesses some time to find alternative supply chains, before the duties rise to 25 percent from the start of next year. China responded by saying it will retaliate with its own measures.
The government will be charging all importers, including A-ROO Company LLC, an additional 10% and will be doing so for all affected goods we have produced in China beginning with deliveries on or after September 24, 2018. We are sorry for this inconvenience and cost, but have no control over it and are forced to pass on the 10% increase. This 10% increase will appear as a separate line item on your invoice. On December 1, 2018, President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping announced a 90-day pause on new tariff actions. If the two countries cannot reach a deal within 90 days, the White House says, existing 10 percent tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods could be increased to 25 percent. This increase would possibly occur on March 1, 2019.

Additionally, as the largest stocking provider of plant and flower packaging in North America, we have many sizes and styles of different packaging items that even if produced in China, arrived into our warehouses prior to the execution of the tariff. We recommend that you take advantage of this inventory and place orders now for immediate delivery for future 2018 and 2019 holiday and everyday packaging. All Chinese imported stock inventory that arrived prior to the September 24th date will be sold and shipped on a first come / first served basis – again, please call and order now to receive pre-tariff pricing while available on orders that ship immediately.
